My review on TripAdvisor:

I have been to Miss T’s Two several times when I needed a quick snack and was in the area. The deli is tucked in a residential neighborhood right near Hackensack High School so I know who their customer is when the school year is in session.

Miss T’s Two is primarily a deli/bodega selling some household items and snack foods to the locals who live in the area but they also have a small hot food area in the back of the store and this is where this unassuming place shines. Their hot food selection may be limited but everything I have tried is delicious and extremely reasonable and is always fresh.

The first two trips I made to the deli was by accident. I had passed the place when working in the area and noticed how reasonable the limited menu was for take out. I had tried their Jamaican Beef and Chicken patties the first time (see TripAdvisor review) and at $2.00 a piece these were a nice deal.

Beef Patties
The beef and chicken patties have the flakiest crust

The patties were well spiced and nicely filled with ground beef and chicken. The outside pastry was really flaky and were extremely hot. They were also nicely sized in comparison to some I have had in Brooklyn recently.

On another trip, I stopped in for a late breakfast and had one of their Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwiches on a roll. I was impressed by the size and taste of the sandwich. It really was wonderful. The sandwich consisted of what seemed to be three eggs scrambled with two slices of American Cheese and a nice sized portion of spicy Canadian bacon tucked inside a soft chewy hero roll. The combination of flavors inside the sandwich was wonderful. That and it had just come off the grill and was sizzling hot.

The bacon, egg and cheese here is really good

Miss T’s is also good when you just want a quick snack. I stopped one afternoon and a double order of Mozzarella Sticks ($3.00) and an order of Fried Chicken Nuggets ($1.25) and both were so good on a cold afternoon. Both orders just came out of the fryer fresh for me and in every bite you could taste the crispness of the food and the zing of the freshly fried oil. On a 30 degree day there is nothing like it.

The service here is very good and the guys that have waited on me have always been very nice and very welcoming. Don’t underestimate the outside of the deli as it is a very clean and organized store. This is why I am so impressed by Miss T’s Two. It is easy to underestimate it.
