My review on TripAdvisor:
Sometimes you just come across a place that has the whole package. Good food at a fair price, a nice selection on the menu and good service. I was working in the the neighborhood where Pompeii Little Market is located and stopped in for a Coke.
What I found was a delightful little deli that is part grocery and part deli with a nice selection of wraps, hoagies and subs, salads and panini’s. There was a small selection of hot foods and specials of the day. They also have a small selection of breakfast items and sandwiches in the morning.
I went in for lunch another afternoon for one of their sandwich specials and had their Italian hoagie special which was $5.95 for this large sub that was filled with ham, salami, provolone cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, shredded onions with a vinegar and oil dressing on a chewy fresh roll. The sandwich was excellent with a nice combination of flavors and was big enough for two people.

I was not just impressed by the way the sandwich looked but also with the friendliness of the service here. Everyone could not be more welcoming and friendly. The staff here is very quick with the orders and the quality is excellent. I was very impressed on my second trip and it won’t be my last.
On a second trip to Pompeii, I stopped to have one of their lunch specials and ordered the Chicken Parmesan hoagie. The sandwich was a very nice sized over-stuffed sandwich with what looked like three nice sized breaded chicken breasts with marinara sauce and sliced mozzarella tucked inside a crusty fresh Italian bread ($6.95). The sandwich was then warmed up and had a nice gooey consistency.

Their Chicken Parmesan sandwich is delicious
I also got a side of the pesto pasta salad with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes that was delicious as well. The deli used fusilli that was cooked al dente with a nice sized chunks of chicken breast and sun-dried tomato mixed in ($6.95 a pound). With a can a Pepsi, it made a very nice lunch.
They also have a nice catering menu so check out their website above.

Their catering menu is really nice
The Catering menu has an assortment of salads, entrees and sides that come in a half tray and a full tray. The prices can run from $35.00 to $50.00 for a half a tray and from $45.00 to $95.00 for a full tray these depend on the item.
You can order anything from a half tray of Antipasta Salad ($40.00) to a full tray of their Chicken Marsala ($85.00). The selection of items is very extensive.
The current catering menu:
Don’t miss this delightful little deli tucked into a small neighborhood right by the park in South Hackensack, NJ.
