Taco Bandito is right around the corner from the Soup Kitchen where I work and around the corner from the Fashion Institute of Technology campus where I went to school. The prices here are perfect for the normal college student as there is nothing on the menu over $10.00.

Taco Bandito IV

The restaurant is around the corner from Holy Apostles Church

The menu is more of a Tex-Mexican food selection with many popular items. The menu contains Nachos, Tacos soft & hard shell, Quesadillas, Enchiladas, Burritos, Tostadas, Tortillas and Fajitas. The portion sizes are very generous.

Taco Bandito III

They have a nice menu here that is reasonable

On the two trips I have made to Taco Bandito (See reviews on TripAdvisor), I have tried the Chicken Quesadilla which were two soft flour tortillas  loaded with fresh veggies, grilled chicken and cheese pressed together and served with sour cream.

The second time I visited, I had the Chicken Fajitas with Guacamole. The Fajitas was a large flour tortilla loaded with grilled chicken, onions and topped with fresh guacamole served with a side of hot sauce.

Taco Bandito II

The food is always fresh here

All of their items are bursting with flavor and the portion sizes are such that one piece of an item is more than enough for lunch. They get a nice lunch time crowd and the place is loaded with students from the surrounding schools.

The restaurant itself is not fancy but is clean and functional. It is a nice place to stay on budget.
